To the personnel in charge of drainage treatment maintenance and environmental management, we would like to introduce a case regarding the proposal for the introduction of a coagulant dosage control device. Coagulants are essential for wastewater treatment in manufacturing sites, but traditionally, a fixed amount was added regardless of the characteristics of the raw water. This led to issues such as wasted chemical costs and instability in floc quality. To address these problems, we proposed the introduction of a coagulant dosage control device. By implementing this device, it became possible to optimize chemical usage while improving treatment efficiency.
